Making science elegant. In 2012, we decided to capitalize on science to create a special invitation for UW Medicine’s annual stewardship event, called Tomorrow Today. Protein design is an emerging field, and this invitation folded together, much as proteins do, in an intriguing design. The visuals also played off the periodic table and DNA to make an engaging invitation, with visuals that carried through to the event. This invitation received a CASE Grand Gold Award for visual design in 2012.
